Terms
The plain terms.
What each way of working together promises, in the same words you'll find on the agreement and the invoice.
Everything I sell is on the Work with me page with its price. This page is the fine print for each one, kept short on purpose. When we work together, you'll get the same words in a one to three page agreement to sign electronically before anything starts, and the invoice carries them too. Nothing hides in a longer document somewhere else. The business is Garwood AI LLC, in Missouri.
The Starter session
- One working session. We start with your real work, find the one job worth handing off, and build one thing you can use the same day. You build it with me, not while I drive.
- $500, flat. One invoice after the session, due 14 days from the invoice date. No hourly rate.
- The guarantee: we agree up front on what a win looks like, and by when. If you don't get there, you pay nothing. In the session we say the win, the date, and how we'll count it out loud and write it down. It goes into the recap I send you afterward, and the recap is what the guarantee pays out against. If you already paid, I refund it in full.
- If the honest answer is that AI won't help much with the thing you named, I'll say so in the session, and the same guarantee applies.
- Anything we build in the session is yours to keep. The methods and templates I bring are mine.
Your agent, built
- One agent that owns one real job. Its scope is a job description we write together and you sign before I build. If it isn't in the job description, it isn't in the build, and we change the job description in writing before anything different gets built.
- $1,000, one time, per agent. Invoiced when the agent is live and you've been shown how it works. Due 14 days. No add-ons, no moving targets.
- You provide the accounts the job description lists, one person who answers what the agent escalates, and your honest baseline for how long the job takes today. You create the credentials, I never ask for your personal passwords, and everything is handed back or revoked at the end.
- The agent's configuration, knowledge, and everything specific to your business are yours from the day you pay. The reusable chassis it runs on stays mine, with a permanent license for you to keep using it inside your agent.
- The agent uses AI models and follows the approval gates in its job description. It can still be wrong, and what it says to your customers is yours the way what an employee says is yours. I don't promise a specific business outcome beyond the agreed smoke test passing.
Managed
- I host your agent, watch it, and fix it before you notice anything is off. Every week you get a plain report of what it did and what that saved you. Every month we sit down and decide what it takes on next.
- $500 a month, per agent, invoiced monthly in advance. Cancel any month by telling me before the next invoice. No minimum term. I can end it with 30 days notice.
- Uptime is watched, not guaranteed with credits. Outages at the model or hosting provider are theirs, and I'll tell you when that's what happened.
- Your credentials live encrypted on the agent's own machine. I hold the minimum access to run the job and don't read your customers' messages except to fix a problem or when you ask. Logs are kept 90 days.
- When it ends, within 7 days I pause the agent, give you an export of its knowledge and its log, and return every credential. Within 30 days I delete what's left on my side. You already own the agent, so if you want to run it yourself, I'll show you how before I go.
Built to scope
- For everything that isn't a single agent: getting you or your team set up on the tools, training that sticks, a workflow automated end to end, a skill or a project. It starts with the Starter session, which is where we scope it.
- One price, one outcome, one start date, agreed in writing before anything is built. Upkeep, if you want it, is priced inside the same scope, not added later. Invoiced when the last milestone is accepted, due 14 days.
- The promise is the scope: the outcome we wrote down, at the price we wrote down, by the date we wrote down. It is not a refund guarantee like the Starter session. If a milestone misses because of something on my side, I fix it at no charge until it lands.
- Either of us can end it with 14 days notice. You pay for the milestones that are done and nothing for the rest.
The parts that apply to everything
- Confidentiality, both ways. What you show me stays with me. I won't name you as a client, quote you, or describe your work publicly without asking first.
- Plain limits. I give you my honest read and I build carefully, but AI tools can be wrong. You keep the judgment on anything that goes to a customer, a regulator, a bank, or a court. Neither of us is responsible to the other for indirect losses, and my responsibility is capped at what you paid me under the agreement.
- If something goes wrong, we talk first. Missouri law governs. Agreements can be signed electronically.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, ask me directly through the assistant or on a call. I'd rather explain it than have you guess.
